bits of rough and real

20 June, Parliament Square, London – END AUSTERITY

It was beautiful to hear her tell of the way it used to be at Stonehenge.

…everyone had their own fields all ‘round: the fire light tellers and singers, the drinkers ‘n’ fighters, the prayers, and the geomancers…

That day, in Parliament Square, I was glad that when it rained, it was after the speeches and the demonstrations of solidarity, after the wee bit of subversion, after the fire lighting and the burning… when it rained, it was during the cleaning, the dancing, and the playing.
